About Dr. Baron

Shawna M. Baron, Psy. D. is a licensed psychologist in Missouri. She obtained her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012 from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. Dr. Baron has received formal training in forensic psychology and has testified as an expert witness in both federal and state court. She began working in police psychology while in graduate school and now serves several local law enforcement and fire agencies in Missouri. Dr. Baron is a member of the Psychological Services Section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), Small & Rural Law Enforcement Executives Association, and American Psychological Association’s Division 18- Psychologists in Public Service (Police and Public Safety). She is a 2021 graduate of Springfield Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy.
